So I'm probably missing something here.
I have a saved item in my watch list and I''d like to search for more items like it. The item is in German (located in Germany as well), so I've set my search to "worldwide". However, when I search for some key words, the search returns no results - what gives??

This is the item in question:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sonneninsel-mit-Tisch-Rattan-Polyrattan-Gartenmuschel-Sonnenliege-Braun-Schwarz/371262234398?hash=item5670f41f1e:g:8JYAAOSw07lbg7-z

So I've done a search using the words, "Gartenmuschel Sonneninsel" (which are included in the item's description), yet the search returns nothing?? I've tried looking for somewhere to possibly change the language, but can't find anything.

Anyone any ideas please??

It is an odd one. I searched under Gartenlounge and several pages of stuff come up. Gartenmöbel produces a few items. These two are searches on ebay.co.uk. On the other hand if I go to ebay.de, which is a logical choice for searches using German language words, Garteninsel delivers several items of a close practical resemblance.

A couple similar here.

Is there a reason you want to buy it from Germany?

I've found quite a few in the UK - I'm just wondering why I can't search for ones located in Germany??

The one that I'v found in Germany, is as cheap, if not cheaper, than the UK ones .... even with the delivery charge.

Cheers Karl - that did the trick. I searched on https://www.ebay.de/ and it worked :)
Search engines are weird. Not so long ago I used Google to search for a part sentence. It offered very few suggestions, none of them proper hits. In fact I wasn't sure that it'd actually hit anything even close. Out of curiosity I added more of the required sentence which, if anything, should have come up with a sub-set of the misses it already offered. In fact it then found what was being searched for ! Must be programmed to be deliberately annoying.
