tony - no, thank goodness, but my daughter is, and I'm very concerned about her - she would be very susceptible to any lergy going around so I'm very glad she's working from home

Come next month and folks will be moaning that they're too cold when the temperature drops to about 15c.

16 years ago I had to get a greenkeeper to take me back to the clubhouse in his buggy after playing 5 holes at a golf club in South Africa, it was too hot with no shade. All our group, including one from Trinidad, came in after 9 holes. Revived with flannels taken from a freezer, together with the requisite alcoholic beverages !

I gauge the weather like this - when I walk out my front door and I can't breathe, I do an about face and wait for it to cool down !! Only way to cope :))
