Do you say breakfast, lunch, dinner or do you say breakfast, dinner, tea ??
I say breakfast, lunch, dinner - always have - but my friend says that’s wrong as you don’t say Christmas lunch lol, and I say I’m right because kids don’t take a packed dinner to school do they!

how many people have bacon and eggs for a wedding breakfast?

I used to say breakfast dinner and tea when I was a nipper, but that was because the main meal really was eaten at noon; I used to walk home for it then back to school afterwards. Tea was just sandwiches.

It's been breakfast lunch and dinner since then, but the meals changed with the words.

On the other hand if anyone invited me for dinner I wouldn’t turn up mid day - I’d turn up in the evening!
