I think the Government have finally convinced that we are quite happy with no deal and keeping all our fish. Is Macron about to get a new one torn?
Has their approach really changed ? If not then what is the point ?
Last thing we need are "compromises" that cross the red lines of being a sovereign nation.
Of course the negotiations are going on - this is all part of the end play and emotions that suggest throwing out the baby with the bathwater or toys out of the pram occur when say any large deal is on the table. I have seen plenty in my time and a quick mind/retort is always useful as is a sense of sanity and humour.
If Boris sticks to his guns, the only problem will be finding a form of words that will save face for the EU, something they can push on to their people.
