How do you word the answer when it has to do with both houses? - A sitting of Parliament?
Sorry if I am being being a little pedantic in questioning the first answer given.
I am sorry to bring this to the top of the most recently answered questions but unless you take the definition of a day to mean 'the hours devoted to work' and make the answer 'a parliamentary day debating the Anti-terrorism Bill on 10/11 March 2005' or words to that effect, there is no way in which this question can be answered as Madmonks has put it.
The 10th March 2005, like every other day, lasted 24 hours. The debate in the commons and lords may have lasted until the next day but by then it was no longer the 10th March.
The compiler of the quiz may well want 10th March 2005 as his/her answer but there is absolutely no way round the fact that this day only lasted 24 hours.
