My little granddaughter has just been singing this over the phone, she has learnt (learned?) it at school. I asked her what it meant in English and she doesn't know.
I told her to be sure to ask her teacher :D

and the engineer realised that Monsieur had defined a cycle as er only half a cycle
slowed it down x 2 and got - - - a warbled alouette
( at a loos end Sat am)
