its too early to tell whether its going to be cold day, but suspect as its winter it won't be warm. if i venture out, which seems unlikely i would be well wrapped up

I have to go out. If I'm not in the paper shop by 1100, the newsagents by 1100, he would be on the phone, if he didn't get an answer, he'd phone my DIL. She'd phone, if she got no answer, she'd be up here to see what's what.

I'm really missing my scooter.
Yes, by law they can on!y do 8mph, which is a mystery, as I was overtaken a few months back, by another scooter going twice as fast as mine.
Must have been an import.
