The K M Links Game - November 2020 Week 4

Good morning everyone - quite warm and a bit muggy outside, and still recovering from 39 yesterday ....Summer isn't sneaking up on us, it's hitting us right between the eyes ....luckily so far, it's not staying too long each time.

Of course, it is the last round for the month, and then we go into the mad and merry month of December when who knows what will happen with our game - Rose brought it to my attention last week regarding the Christmas crossword which always provides some flurries (!) I can't recall just when the crossword came out ...pre Christmas or after, so I'll just risk it, say we'll play on through and see what happens ......( I might be looking for new employment in the New Year !!)

Steff - the Christmas Giant Crossword came out on the 21st December last year; perhaps this year it will be the 19th, that is, the third weekend. The theme last year of the shaded clues was the ballet The Nutcracker, so a limited number of answers (you would think), but producers of the ballet over the years seem to have invented characters and changed the characters' names, and it was possible to choose the wrong ones. I did.
Having mentioned the grief it caused for the scoring of our game, funnily enough that week I was one of the GK Crossword prize-winners. Now that was a surprise :))

Hi Rose....yes I had a feeling that might happen, on the 19th, so we have, or rather, I do ...pity we can't have a vote !!

1. Declare December a complete holiday and return in the New Year
2. Score weeks 1,2 &4
3. Score every week & hope for the best !!

I'm happy to go with 3, I may be lynched afterwards, but then ......

I'm just trying to think of a way around the potential problem at Christmas ... if your introduction in the KM Links Game thread mentions any extra clues, then we're ok, everybody has a fair chance, and we can go with option 3.

I wonder if your earlybirds in the 'fao the KM players' thread have access to the paper copy and can compare notes with the online version? If so, would it be possible to sort something (if needed) for that week on that thread? Any hassle - then option 2?
