First Class Stamp

Apologies if this has already been posted (no pun intended) but it has been announced that the price of a first Class stamp will rise by 9p to 85p from January 1st 2021. Stock up now if you use them regularly.

I gave up using 1st class stamps years ago as they never guaranteed next day delivery. Just buy 2nd class and remember to post birthday cards a couple of days earlier.

i waited for an important letter from DWP it was sent second class, it took 7 days

i pay around 3 quid as well. The box of Christmas cards cost me a tenner, though this was for charity

I hadn't realised that inflation was that high. How long ago did the price last rise ?

I only seem to use them for Xmas cards these days.

by the time i find one i would have likely spent more on the fare. OUR our local card shop is ok. its not cheap but have plenty of choice.

I've been buying cards from Amazon this year. Quite often they are free postage, and loads to choose from.

I always buy my cards at the local hospice shop so I haven't got them yet. They'll be open now so I'll get them tomorrow. Those for abroad will probably be late arriving but never mind.
