Thanks to you all for your help! When you go off in the wrong direction you do need help! Thanks elliemay1, I had rung as relating to bells so I was never going to get step! And thanks aelmpvw, I was wrong with Peter Schmeichel and Cesar Franck. Balthazar pointed to the three kings but I just couldn't get there. Hadn't thought of ghosts, bobbinwales, thanks for that suggestion but think aelmpvw has put me right!
Do anyone know the answers to numbers 28 and 47 please

No28 has an x a small square and a circle of d,s with waltz inside

No47 macsshirt and belowit has mornay veloute bechamel

Hope this helps thank you
Are d,s and waltz all inside the circle?
No just waltz
28 something to do with
Times Square Ball Drop
No 28 9 ladies dancing.... X 1 being the 9 as in roman numerals
X1 is eleven. 1X is nine.
Thank you for that slimseeker just need no47 now
47 macsshirt is an anagram of christmas..
so could be christmas sauces?
9 ladies dancing doesn't work for me at all. I like Times Square, but again I can't crack that.
Can see Times Square and ball but what do 'd and s' signify?
Monty, when you say a circle of 'd and s' do you mean that there were multiple d and s written round to form a circle?
Elliemay. re 28 There are 9 "D"s in a circle around the word "Waltz" (so could mean "9 D's dancing ") to the left of this circle is " X - " So this bit would have to equate to "la" to meet Slimseekers suggestion. Times Square doesn't really work either because the dash is just that and not square.
28 was also posted last night - here is the dingbat
