Cryptic Jumbo

A couple of clues I can’t unlock. The crossword overall was not all that hard ( if you know your Bob Dylan, anyway). The two are
Pay for another nurse. I have t*e*t and the only word I can think of is ‘treat’ . But why?
And the other is ‘ seeing that on , this must be genuine. Again I have letters and ‘ sincere ‘ fits . Genuine I can see but the rest?

Thanks, Steve, I thought the Sincere one was rather lame and rather clunky, but not actually bad technically.

Just a last word for tonight: Stay safe ( ok , that’s two words) . If you are eligible for a jab, I hope you’ve had one. But we must all try our best to help them calm the down, even if the jab comes later . And we MUST give vaccines to poorer countries! MUST!
