What food is your dog eating?
Question Author
He is on lifestage from jollies pet shop.wheat free.
Compylobacter is caused by eating raw chicken or meat or by cross contamination. Not sure if there are other ways of infection if hes just eating pet food.

Can you call an emergency vet for a phone consultation?
does he get a chance to eat rubbish?
Question Author
No he doesn't eat rubbish, the vet says its caused by eating grass that other dogs have peed on. He has been ok last 5 days. Just can't understand why he has days of being ok . Then gets grumbling tum ,and out of sorts. For about 6 hours then fine. Vet can't understand it.
What breed is he? This might be something he is prone to anyway. He might be intolerant to something he is having... It might be a little trial and error with his food to find something he can cope with.
Question Author
Border terrier. 5 years old. He had the same problem when he was 2 only lasted a couple of days. Vet never did tests then, just gave antibiotics.
Question Author
We have tried a few different foods all hypoallergenic.
Question Author
Have spoken to breader , was told border terriers have delicate tums.
How many different foods since January?
Question Author
Butchers and the 1 he's on now, lifestage. He was weaned off slowly.
I would try different foods for a while and see if something suits him better. I have 4 dogs... and I know you are supposed to change slowly, but there has never been a problem between different brands.

Personal l think he has colitis, As l suffer from this myself. I know the symptoms. I just don't like to see him like this. Fingers crossed it seems to have settled down.
