Can picture Maggie Smith (miss jean brodie) but allso Gordon Jackson from Upstairs Downstairs, but ca'nt find anything on google
I can allso hear it in my head as something from Hercule Poirot
My first thought was Mary Poppins or something like that.

Failing that (Likely) It could be from Pink Floyd The Wall album song being 'The Trial'.

This will not do:

Nah its none of them. It's really driving me insane. I think in the movie/show she is a younger actress.
Could it be Mra Bridges in Upstairs Downstairs ? (Talking to the kitchen maid)
Question Author
Still nope sorry guys
I thought it might have been Mrs Bridges telling Ruby the kitchen maid off for being in late
Back to the drawing board! lol
Is it a quote from Mrs Bucket? (Bouquet)
Any idea which era you first heard this in? Might help to narrow it down a tad. Otherwise we could be here for the duration.

I think it's within the last 15 years. She says it as though the situation is not good but with caring. She says that line and then goes about making the situation better in a loving, determination way. Not snobby, I'm better than you tone. I feel its more of a child oriented movie/show. Or at least that's what I feel. I have Nanny McPhee in my head but I'm sure it's not that.
Mrs Doubtfire?
Question Author
God I wish it was! Then this nightmare would be over. I'm going to have to rewatch every movie and TV show with a younger female character iv ever watched to find this OR check myself into bedlam!
could it have been one of those Christmas films that they put on channel 5
This could be in loads of movies, before I read any answers I immediately thought Mary Poppins. Are you sure it's not from the newer Emily Blunt version (not that I've seen it)?
Question Author
Yeah I had a feeling it might be so got hold of the script and searched for that line or variation of but nothing. Think I will just have to call it quits and hope to come across it again in the future
