Lost Pigeon

For over a week now a beautiful pigeon has been on our roof and coming down for seed we've put on the path. Its very tame but not quite enough to actually pick it up. Has 3 rings on legs so presumably is lost from some pigeon fancier or racer. I'm not sure what to do about it, it is not making any attempt to leave?

Ask the RSPCA if they can help.

It won't go if you keep feeding it. It should be well rested and fed by now so remove all sources of food and it will go home

Barry i had a feeling someone would say that but we didn't put anything down for the first 4 days and it seemed to just stay on the roof for hours apart from coming down for a drink.

Are there any pigeon fanciers in your area. One of them might be able to help.
