I'm after a coffee machine which uses the same pods but made by more than one brand which you can get anywhere. My parents have a Tassimo machine and you can only use Tassimo capsules but you're limited in choice.
I got some R&R vouchers that I converted to a John Lewis gift card several months ago and wanted to wait till I moved to my new house before buying anything. Having looked on the John Lewis website I can't see what machine matches with which type of coffee pod or capsule and also which these have the widest variety in supermarkets.
Can anyone help me? Has to be from John Lewis. Cheers
I have a dolce gusto machine, it uses Starbucks and I can get capsules in lidl or aldi to match it too - you can also buy reusable capsules and make your own coffee (good for the environment)https://www.johnlewis.com/nescafe-dolce-gusto-colors-coffee-machine-by-delonghi/p3343213
Seriously - OH is a coffee addict in the morning and has to have a good, strong cup. He wouldn't touch these pods/capsules. Buy old-fashioned ground coffee (or, even better, beans to grind) and a simple filter machine. Much easier as well.
Me - don't ask me, I'd climb the walls after one cup of coffee. :)
Just looked that up, Ducksie and they don't seem to be available online any more. Unfortunately I have an evoucher so can't use it in store. Are the store still open as a matter of interest?
These should be ok if JL have them

Just re read what you want. There are, that I know, coffee machines that use either Nespresso or Dulce Gusto pods. Many coffee companies make pods that can be used in one or other machine. You just have to decide which one you want. I have a Dulce Gusto and get my pods on Amazon using their subscribe and save.
Dualit are one the companies who have entered the market making machines that use the ‘Nespresso’ capsules and supply their own capsules.

With a 100g jar of instant coffee costing less than £1, these machines are expensive to run.
Don’t why the Nespresso Vertuo, you have to use their pods and they’re not widely available. You have to order online, unless you’re near one of their ‘boutiques’
