I read you’ve not been feeling well
so to you I send this healing spell,
I’m not bald enough to be Uncle Fester
but I’m daft enough to be a court jester,
so, on the eve of Halloween
laughter’s the best mediceen,
a bit of poetic licence there
for those who notice or who dare,
but back to ye olde healing spell
just chuck a penny in the wishing well,
turn round thrice and shout ee bah gum
and feel the windless pylons thrum
and watch the fallen petals dance
as one by one they overcome the chance
to vanish without a second thought
and bring you solace as they ought.
So I hope your ills are not too serious
and that you’re not too delirious
after reading all of this guff
but well enough, aye well enough!
o god I thought this said hedgeling spell ( bad sight day today ) and you had to go out to cold wet hedges and collect creepy crawlies and small furry animals
Oh Woodelf, no-one has ever written me a poem before or cast a spell. How lovely Yes I've been unwell since an accident, but things are getting better. I will be in touch with you soon with the boring details. Hope you are Ok and looking forward to being in touch again soon. Big smiles and hugs. Luv Lottie.
I hope your spell works, and I don't wake up tomorrow as a toad or frog! Smile.
Pat I really hope you’re on the mend - you’ve certainly been through the mill! I’m still recovering at home after quite a long hospital stay - had no idea it would take so long to get better

Blimey Wolf, I'm not that good!...it seems to be working already Lottie, for a little smile goes a merry mile, while a frown can only bring you down and as none of us want that, we only want the best for Pat!
And whilst she's got a friend like Elfy who writes her verse to keep her healfy, by bringing joy into her days with smiles and other little ways, then she will quickly better be - but you will have to wait and see.
So you're a poet to and we didn't know it, so very nice of you to write and show it and not averse to play with words, a craft that's not away with the birds!...away with the fairies wouldn't work of course, so I "cheated" again!...I must try harder - a lovely little snippet though, Lottie!
Whoops, posted too early. For some reason I stopped writing. My mum started the habit by an early introduction to A A Milne. A lot of my poems were nonsense poems or about nature. But then I talk a lot of nonsense most of the time!
There's nowt wrong with talking or even being nonsense-ical or otherwise...it's one of my perfect states, if I'm not in a state of panic over an unfinished painting (where else better) then it's the crazy world of nonsense and all its parodies, peculiarities and peripatetic paroxysms - and oh, did you get my emails, I'm never sure if you did!
Woodelf. With so many apologies . I have just managed to find your mail, buried in junk from Facebook!! I had also somehow managed to lock myself out of my emails content account. Woe is me. I have emailed you!
