hope so so it needs to find the black box more than anything else as to why it crashed too expensive to lift any wreckage, would not serve any purpose anyway and the bodies long gone .
awful tragedy
I was hoping this might have more substance but looks like one guy with a theory. Still worth pursuing though even though that area has been searched already. Problem is finding the wreckage won't really solve much. Black box surely won't be working and bodies long gone. It's why it went down that will probably never be known. Awful tragedy.

I agree and I know the bodies are long gone but I just think it would give the families some sort of closure. Probably is just a flash in the pan but at least he is trying.
I wish they could solve this once and for all, but I favour the idea that it was a pilot hijacking.
Is it possible to recover wreckage from a depth of 4000 metres/13000 feet?
seems so
Trieste is a Swiss-designed, Italian-built deep-diving research bathyscaphe which reached a record depth of about 10,911 metres (35,797 ft) in the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench near Guam in the Pacific.

and there are a few.
Black.boxes will work but of course the signal they give out to be found went off days after crashing
Bookbinder the airfrance flight 447 was deeper than 1300 and it was found and partly recovered
I don't believe it was a pilot hijacking. Some pilots have killed themselves and their pax (Egyptair, Germanwings etc) If a pilot wants to fly the aircraft into the sea/ground he can do that fairly easily. He doesn't need to fly hundreds/thousands of miles to do that.
