Timed, Blue Badge Parking On 3 Hour Limits
PLEASE can someone help with this?
How far away from my original parking place do I have to move (for that one hour) after the 3 hour allotted time is up so that it's not included in the same time slot area, before coming back to the original place and starting the 3 hours again? I hope that makes sense!
I've tried everywhere I can to get this answer - even phoning the relevant parking and Blue Badge official authorities, but NO-ONE knows!!! You'd think that the people who made the bloody rules would know the bloody answer, wouldn't you?
I'd REALLY appreciate a definitive answer to this ASAP if possible, as my local council has made it financially impossible for my friend with MS to park at mine every weekend - £4.20 every day for visitors vouchers - so that we can take care of each other (I'm also disabled).
I've gone down every other possible route re this and none of them are feasible - according to the council!
As soon as Xmas is over, I'm getting on to my MP about this! >:(

In reality, if there are no cameras on the road your friend can simply change the time on the clock - a parking attendant would have to make a note of the time he first saw the car in that spot and would have to be able to prove that it hadn't moved. Unless the parking attendant passes that place at least once an hour there is nothing he can do.
If there are cameras, it's a different matter.

WOW! Mamyalynne - that's EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you SO much, that's solved my problem, once and for all. I thought I'd covered every avenue, so how the heck you found that, I'll never know. Thank goodness for The Answer Bank!
Thanks again, Mamyalynne. You've prevented a large hole in my friend's bank balance!
