Spaces Between The Bricks.

I've noticed some spaces between the bricks in the front wall of my bungalow.
Nothing major, but it looks untidy.
There are also a few holes in the bricks themselves where holes have been drilled to put up security lights.
Is there anything I can buy (preferably ready mixed) to fill the gaps in the cement and the holes in the bricks? TIA

Thanks gingerbee. I'm not looking for 'how to' but what to buy and where from.
A lot of videos on YouTube are about replastering and are also American.

you can buy small bags of ready mixed sand and cement (just add water) from B&Q and other DIY outlets for this very purpose

nescio would that be ok to use on filling in the holes in the bricks?

If you Google "read-mix sand and cement", you'll find plenty, Barsel.

One thing you'll probably have to live with is the colour.
Mortar changes colour over time. You may have to put up with plain grey.
Even pre-coloured mortars rarely match the old stuff.

I was hoping to buy something smaller than that, perhaps in a tube, but will google to see what I can find.
What would you use to fill in holes in the actual red bricks?

Holes in brick are always problematic because of the colour.
You can definitely use the same product for the brick holes though.
Colour matching is always trial and error. My favourite for filling old drilled holes is to grind up a bit of the same brick and mix it with PVA adhesive, and stuff that in.

I you use the one in the tube, you could always tickle it with a felt tip pen or similar afterwards to get some kind of match.
You wouldn't believe the potions that are made up and used to match colours, especially in trying to match roof tiles ;o)

Just been outside to look at the mortar and it's a pinkish colour.
I'm pretty sure the chap I will be asking to do the job for me will have one of those guns.
I think it might be better to get the light grey one and then try colouring it with something.

Brick paint can be very effective if you can match it correctly.
