For 1 is SW the author initial's and is 'lost in in ice wasteland' a clue to the book or the author name??

Bobby maybe your instructions are wrong. If there just anagrams then monte Bruce works. And the other is nearly Colin wilson. the anagram is I think Wilsen if that's a name?

Thanks. So Tilly and I had wrong end of the stick, we was thrown by incorrect word in the second clue.
An example of another clue and answer would of helped too

I got the wrong end of the stick by assuming the S of S W was an initial for a Christian name. Well done squashimodo.
