The ULTRA ALPHAPUZZEL on Page 3 of the puzzle section falls easily into place. It is the one with no crossword type clue by the way. Last across is a 7 letter word 11=A, 3=N, 5=I,2=E, 13=T and 14=Y

Well done, emmie, with mentions in despatches for mallyh & margotester as well.

'Smite' can be located by guessing that E=13, based on being one of the most frequent letters and being doubled. It's also often at the end of words.

Bobbinwales does however, have a point about having a separate thread. In order to remain with the AB principle of asking questions for others to answer, as an experiment I will try posting an Ultra Alphapuzzle thread on Fridays & Sundays to see if it gains any traction. As with this thread, there's no compulsion for puzzlers to refer to clues but it sometimes helps if you're stuck or short of time.
