Hotel Near Spire Leeds Hospital, Roundhay Leeds, Yorkshire
Can anyone recommend a hotel close to this hospital, as above? Googled and used sites and nowhere too close. All involve taxi . Although when stayed I couldn’t leave car in hotel car park as lack of places. Parked, checked in but had to leave car and not use so pay for taxis just so could keep my carpark place. Need to drive from Wales to Leeds for appts. Need hotel with en-suite, preferably ground floor, wi fi . Any suggestions greatfully received. Sometimes will try train but would need taxis.

Thanks. It was this premier inn Headingly that had limited parking. So parked on arrival and had to leave car just to keep place. Taxi to and from hospital. In 20 mins was inside hotel, all the remaining carpark had been taken and stayed that way until morning. The other hotel no vacancies and very limited. Thanks
Would you consider a B&B with ample parking 1.5 miles from the hospital, rather than a hotel? I don't know if they have a ground floor room, though. There is WiFi in the main lounge but maybe you could use your phone as a WiFi hotspot (I always do that as I dislike using public WiFi)

I'm a bit confused because the hospital has free on-site car parking.

So, as I see it, there's no need to look for a hotel that's particularly close to the hospital but simply one (with decent parking, etc) that's within a reasonable driving distance (of, perhaps, 15 minutes or so?) of the hospital. If so, that opens up far more opportunities than simply looking for a hotel in the immediate area of the hospital. On that basis, staying on the Weetwood Hall Estate (about 15 minutes drive from the hospital) might be a possibility:

(It's worth searching online for rates which might possibly be cheaper than those on the hotel's own website, despite the 'best rate guarantee' shown there).
Similarly, the Old Coach House is only a 10 minute drive from the hospital:

(Parking is 'thirty seconds down the road')
Hinsley Hall is about 17 minutes by car from the hospital. (It's roughly in the same area as the Premier Inn that you stayed at before). It seems to offer everything that you want, at sensible prices:

Many thanks to all. I need to stay overnight when have appointments as live far from hospital and can’t always drive after tests, hence reason for parking at hotel and not hospital as don’t want my car left in hospital car park overnight. Would only consider accommodation with en-suite and need wi fi in room for work.
