Many thanks, Dannyk13, this is what I've got
and there are only two "S", so one of my words
is definitely wrong. Thanks for pointing me in
the right direction now. I find the Telegraph cryptic
is always much more difficult than the Spectator.

Thanks, Danny - I'm used to people acknowledging questions if not answering them. I'm learning that Matakari's 'Many thanks all' covers everything that anyone has said or asked!
I think you're right about his struggle with this one, but you got him there... eventually!
