Bbc Quiz: Week 21
43 Answers
It’s Friday, so here we go again folks!
A decent enough start for me this week, I feel, with FIVE out of seven in the main quiz:

. . . but I had to rely on the final question to save me from total ignominy in the junior quiz. Just ONE out of five for me :(

The timed quiz seemed a bit easier than usual to me this week, allowing me to achieve SEVEN out of ten:

Guesses all count, Susan ;-)
Thanks for joining in and I hope that all is well with you up there in Haggis-land!
I only beat you on the timed quiz, Karamia. You matched me on the main one and doubled my score with the junior version, so not too bad over all, really ;-)
Good evening, Campbellking. You're perfect company for Karamia this week, it seems! I hope that you'll soon give poor, starving, grossly ill-treated little Robbie his tea. (Well, that's how he'll portray himself to you, I'm sure, even though I know that he gets spoilt rotten really!). My lot are are as bonkers as ever and continuing to boss me about as much as ever (thankfully!)

Good evening, Sam. That pointy hat thing is only for thick kids which, given that my score on the junior quiz is the lowest so far and that you've achieved three times what I got, I reckon that I ought to be wearing ;-)
At least you managed to avoid total disaster in the other two quizzes, anyway ;-)
I'm 'as well as can be expected', thank you, (give or take a minor bit of toothache at the moment). I hope that you're well too.

>>> German or Belgium, Chris ?
It might be a mixture of both, Tony. If I can recall correctly, I've got a couple of 330ml bottles of Hoegaarden outside in the meter cupboard (where my beer gets stored), along with a 500ml bottle of Paulaner. Alternatively I might open a bottle of Morrison's utterly superb English dry white wine. My local branch has been flogging some stock off at £8 per bottle, presumably because it's an older vintage (2018) and I've taken quite a liking to it ;-)

Your scores this week are like my waistline, Cashier. Very solid around the middle ;-)
You're our best kid so far, Patsy! Well done!
