At the Jubilee thanksgiving service.
The atmosphere was amazing and the anticipation of which royal’s were going to turn up could be felt in the air.
The reception afterwards was the icing on the cake where we were introduced to several Royals.
If that wasn’t enough excitement for a lifetime we found out last week that Mr Red will receive his MBE in 3 weeks at the palace.
Another new frock needed.
Did you wear a hat? Will you need another to go with the new frock?? Bet you looked and felt a million dollars. Is Mr Red nervous about his upcoming MBE ceremony?
I did wear a hat which I thought was quite over the top but wasn’t given some of the other creations!
I went black and ivory this time but given Mr Reds suit is navy I am going with navy next time to match him. So 4 new dresses ordered.
‘Awarded for outstanding achievements or service to the community. This will have had a long term significant impact and stand out as an example to others’
Not many can have that said about them and receive an MBE can they?
Couple of questions, Helen. Did you get to speak with Liz? And, if so, did she mention me? She usually does, you know. Real name-dropper, our Liz:-)
So glad you enjoyed your day hob-nobbing with the posh folk:-)
