There's not been the slightest hint of either cloud or rain around here. The weather has provided me with a good excuse for not getting around to any of the things on my 'to do' list though, as I've simply told myself that it's far too hot ;-)

Good evening, Sam. As you say, very much 'middle of the road' but pretty decent all the same, I'd say! I continue to be "as well as can be expected for an old 'un" (although I seem to need a hell of a lot of sleep lately!). I hope that you're well too.

I blame the heat and the gardening.
Shady has spent a lot of time today in the cool of the long grass - maybe I should have done the same.
Hope your trio (and you) are staying cool. I hear Suffolk is top of the leader board :-)

That sounds like an excellent excuse for not cutting it, anyway ;-)

My lot have been outside for most of the day, generally seeking the shade and remaining still. They did decide that it was worth moving though when I got the Dreamies out as usual ;-)
