I knew some common sense would have to prevail.
It's not common sense, it's capitulating to the TG brigade, just ban them from women's sports, end of. No need to create a TG division for blokes pretending to be women because they can't compete with the actual men.
How about this simple rule, for all sport:
" Nobody who has ever been male can take part in female sport".
Question Author
Why is it capitulation, Tora? I can't see anything about a separate TG division.
of course it is ZM. We'll create a whole new division to avoid implementing the obvious solution so we don't look bad.
GG, or if you have a Y chromosome you cannot take part in women's sport.

I haven't seen anything about forming a separate league / division - have you?
That's what they are doing in swimming, only a matter of time before other sports surrender.
Question Author
Well, if and when they do, so be it. No serious sports'people' will compete / take part.
yeah but why even try and accommodate the attention seeking weirdos?
I see Rugby as a game of brute force, allowing someone born male and who changes to female to play is not very sporting.

I some sports there seems to be any advantage of gender. Table Tennis for example ... or Archery.
