Yesterday's Wordle

Meant to post this yesterday... Did anyone get yesterday's wordle and how many go's did it take.
I been doing these in 3 for ages but yesterday failed in 6 then without checking for the answer I cleared my browser and started again from where I left off.... and still didn't get it in 12! I was only one letter out for last few but just couldn't get it

Thanks, naomi, I've had a go and I fear it's a game I could lose a lot of time in. Never ending. That is why I like the 'ordle' games - I stop when I've played each daily game.

Haha! There is the danger of trying to beat your last score! It can get a bit 'compulsive', but at least you can leave it and go back to pick up whenever you fancy it.

Anyone else finding the Wordle words are getting more obscure. I got a few recently including today but they been words I wasnt sure existed. Maybe its just me!

Today's was quite straightforward for me, got it in three. A very common word

fair enough... clearly it is just me!. Its a word I thought sounded familiar and could guess roughly what it meant but its a word i never heard anyone i know say in my life...
Still, I got it in 4 which isnt to bad. earlier this week we had GAWKy and I forgot yesterdays now but am sure that was an obscure on

The Guardian on line crossword changes at midnight so I complete that before looking at Wordle. This must be complete coincidence but for the past three days I have picked a five letter word from the crossword to start wordle, on the first two days there were two letter right and this morning, there were three.

Got today's in 4 but only because on the third go, i had all 5 letters correct but in anagram order. Sure those who have done it will know which word i had for the 3rd attempt:-)
