Good evening, everyone!
(Or, of course, if you're a latecomer to the thread, good morning, good afternoon or whatever!)

The main quiz seemed to be quite easy this week, so my score of FIVE out of seven probably isn't particularly impressive - but I'd much rather have just two answers wrong than just two answers right ;-)

I also had just two answers wrong in the junior quiz this week but, with only five questions in total, that only leaves me with a middling THREE out of five.

As usual, I rushed into clicking on an answer with one of the Timed Teaser questions, meaning that I failed to score a point on a question that I actually knew the answer to. (It was the last one). So that left me with SIX out of ten this week.

I'm sure that you can do better than me though, can't you?

Three and three.
Five on the timed. Not a good week.

No disasters, anyway, Cashier - and at least we're equally childlike this week ;-)

Good evening, Sam. I'm still struggling on, as ever, thank you ;-)

I hope that you're in the very finest of fettle too!

Well done on matching my aggregate score this week!
Not a great start, but got better

Well done with that decent 7, Karamia!

The kitties always have a lovely weekend (and the rest of the week too) because they're spoiled summat rotten! I'll do my best to have a good weekend too, as I hope that you'll also have.

Well done, Tigger! A near perfect adult and a near-perfect kid too! (That ruddy annoying timed quiz is many people's downfall though!)
4, 3 and 6 this week.

Thanks for allowing me to sneak ahead of you by a single point this week, Milo2 ;-)

Well done with that decent 7, Fatticus, - and on matching my aggregate too ;-)

A near-perfect grown-up, Calmck! Well done!

'Pass marks' on the first two, Canary, but somewhat better in the sprint event, I see. You must have polished your running shoes this week ;-)
5/7 v 4/7
3/5 v 4/5
6/10 v 7/10
Yes, but only by 1 point
CATastophe this week : Dreamies out of stock at local Tesco but Shady's putting a brave face on it with some fresh cod fillet
Hope you and yours have had a good week. Apart from Covid booster nothing exciting here :-))
6/7 (stupid band question)
3/5
7/10
Question Author
There always seems to be at least one 'stupid' question for you, Lie-in King ;-)

Well done on beating me yet again, anyway ;-)

Well done, indeed, Haras2! You're getting too good at this ;-)

What? No Dreamies? Dial 999! Write to your MP! It's a totally intolerable situation!

I always buy a new tub of Dreamies as soon as I've opened an existing one, in the hope that it will then be almost impossible to run out. (Actually, my lot like these just as much and they're cheaper! https://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/garfield-supremies-300g-chicken-and-cheese-3559912 . B&M also stock a salmon-flavoured variety).

Our week here has been much the same as always but at least I've had nothing to complain about. I hope that your week has gone smoothly (including that booster jab) and that you and Shady will have a good weekend too.
6/7
3/5
5/10
3/7, 3/5 and 7/10 for me this week.
Question Author
Well done on being a near-perfect grown-up, Sharon - and on matching my aggregate too ;-)

Well done with that decent 7, Tony. Seeing your name seems to make me think of booze. (I wonder why?). So I'll now have to go downstairs to find that bottle of Bordeaux that I opened last night ;-)
