Russia Pays Tribute To The Queen
Predictably, the death of Her Majesty has produced a flood of tributes in Ukraine, but also in Russia.
People have been leaving flowers and candles outside the British Embassy in Moscow. This morning's Russian newspapers are covering the news in high profile and Rossiskaya Gazeta, the main government newspaper has a huge copy of the last picture of her taken at Balmoral, with the headline above "The bells toll for her"
Even president Putin has sent a pretty generous message to the King.
It is a different story on TV of course, but I think that says something about the way the printed press in Russia contrasts with the screen.
The president of Venezuela Nocolas Maduro of all people was one of the first to send a message of condolence, which probably says something about profile of the late queen across the world,
