Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I think the 'arctic. Monkeys' gave it to me! Is it my imagination or have these been easier the last few weeks, I had some really fallow weeks earlier this year?

Ah, my comment got truncated. Never mind. I looked up ABC bus passes and it took me to Dundee where I spent several hours looking for a nightlife hub. Totally the wrong place. You need to look much further south where they play football on a Wednesday......

Since he took over, Sean Newsom always puts in obvious, usually punning clues. This week he mentions 'pulp', 'Arctic monkeys' and 'common people' - all Sheffield references.

I'm not sure they have been getting easier. I often spend hours going off at a tangent where I misread the initial clue. What I have noticed is the large amount of UK holiday destinations which don't particularly excite me. I prefer warm seas, sunshine and 'foreign' food.
One last curiosity - do you have to subscribe to Times+ in order to win a holiday prize? Just asking for a friend.
