I’m a born Christian. My whole family is Christian. I go to church every Sunday. I go to a Christian school. And yet, I’m very fascinated with things like tarot cards and zodiac signs. Things that my family thinks are stupid and wrong. But I can’t help that I’m so interested in them. At one point, I even made my own set of tarot cards, which my parents promptly threw away. I don’t really know what I should do. No one else I know appears to struggle with this problem. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice.

If you find your interest is giving rise to issues about your commitment, then, on the advised absence of understanding from your parents, a chat with your minister may give you some more balanced guidance, and a chance to discuss your interest, and where your future options may lie.
