Surely the SDP sold out and merged with the Liberals to form the Antidemocratic Dregs party, ages ago ?
Politicians come & politicians go. If they don't have what it takes to become recognisable by the general public then hardly surprising they won't stay in the memory. Even main parties rarely have more than a handful that get into the public's consciousness.
