Natural World BBC2. Bill Bailey narrating. Terrible in my opinion. Not the voice for the job.

Anyone who isn't Neil Oliver is fine with me...
Jeremy Irons, I like his voice & am envious of his hair.

in 1955 i had a record played on the "light programme" it was bob danvers walker who read my name and request out
(the record was Doris Day "the windy city" from calamity jane
Bill Paterson must be one of the luckiest actors around. He's made a long and successful career out of always playing 'Bill Paterson': he's the same in everything he's ever been in, can't do accents (unlike, say, David Tennant) and just plays himself with monotonous regularity.
As for his narration - I've got a Scottish accent and can read out loud. Gizza job!
Barbara Flynn for me; then again, I would say that as I've had a crush on her for over 30 years. Just love her voice, too.
//Richard Burton, superb enunciation.//
The rest of him was supurb too.

Another more recent narrator was a man called David Mc Cullough, he narrated the brilliant Ken Burns series American Civil War.
Bill Nighy.
Richard Burton was very good. As was David Hemmings, particularly in his narration on Rick Wakeman's 'Journey To The Centre Of The Earth'.
Dave Lamb is excellent on Come Dine With Me
Michael York had a lovely quality to his voice.
