I finally got the Title Builder to work! I had to disable some protective software I have! I’m trying to find out on what date I will be able to find the answer to this crossword? Thanks! Sorry for repeated attempts to post this.

I don’t think so Tilly, I have checked back in previous editions and it appears not! Very strange

Failing which, could anyone please explain why 25d “caught caught caught, catch here (3)” would be sea? I could sort of understand it being plural “seas” but not singular.
I don't do the Times crossword but maybe someone who does will be along soon.
The solution should be in the Sunday 11th Edition in print. Which answer do you need to check. I submitted the solution online and have the answers.

@Togo …are you suggesting that the answers are not available in the online edition?

Thanks, Richard
This is a link to a grid showing the answers but I've no idea why the answer is, "sea".

I have never looked to be honest. I know that the unsolved puzzle is left online for Times subscribers to complete whenever they want to. I have never looked for the "solution" online because I complete it. Will have a look if I can answer you.

Caught synonyms include Netted, Hooked, Viewed, Sighted, Gained, etc. etc. I
Caught I n cricket is c x3...caught means sounds like Cs so seas
That site is not secure.
I seen no warning about the site I linked.
If you are a Times suscriber this link should take you to a solutions options and time scale list. I doubt the 4/12/2022 will be there until tomorrow.

Thanks for all your help. The answer given, “sea”, makes no sense whatsoever to me. If anything, it would be “seas” but a rubbish clue in my opinion. Very surprised that the solution is so difficult to track down!
One of those "word play" clues RSD, that can be infuriating. Another caught synonym is overheard or picked up on as in sounded like. So caught (c) sounded like, netted/hooked, viewed, catch(fish) here. Bleughh horrible from Mr McLean.
As usual, bit late, but I saw it as

1st Caught (as in cricket) = C (cee)
2nd Caught, is the synonym for 'sounds like, so 'cee' becomes 'sea'
3rd Caught, misleads you with the comma - so ignore it, as you should do in all cryptic clues; you now have 'caught catch here' ie Sea
