I'm back again ...... I just want thoughts on number 55. Two of this are found in nasal iambs. (4) ..... I have seen it answered as ... lamb !

Not sure about 55 being Lamb. Although the compilers have said not all answers may be different, I have never known any answer being used more than once. I have been doing their quiz for years. I can't see how you can parse Lamb properly from the clue. As a side comment, there have been no birds in the answers I have. With only 5 left, I find that odd. In fact 90+% are mammals.

I seen 55 as CALF (poetiCALFoot, i recall) but wasnt convinced on that either as it dosn't explain the 'two of these'?

There are two S's in nasal iambs but unless theres an animal called an ESSE...
Wonder if its a typo and should say Nasal Lambs so it would be 2 SL's ?

55 could it bees - some refarance to the silent B in IAMBS? Am not sure a Bee counts as an animal though. Sorry just thinking aloud really

Although the clue would have been better 'anal iambs', they probably wouldn't have written that :-)
Look for two anagrams.
