Do many other ABers agree, or do they regard stirring as a beautiful achievement?

FAO any Mods. Feel free to move this post to a more appropriate place if you think it more appropriate. :-)
Mods can’t move posts. Only editors can do that.
that reminds me to go and stir my homemade soup......
That’s harmless enough, DTC.

Thanks, Naomi. As soon as I posted I realised that I was being provocative, so I thought there might be a better place for this thread.

DTC; I'm glad I might have resulted in a happy outcome. Is the soup OK?
it's fine - it's the feeling of the wooden spoon cutting through the lush, velvety texture of the soup that feels good to me - as I have had a third invasion of this flu-bug, so altruism is fair game at the moment in my book.
Best here I think, atheist. Hopefully it will be confined to what it says on the tin - natter and nonsense.
DTC, are you sure you haven’t got some Covid related thing going on? You seem to have been under the weather a lot lately.
Question Author
What's the soup, DTC? And how are you feeling after three invasions? When was the first?
Back at the end of November and into early December....odd symptoms indeed.

Creamy roasted cauli....with a little onion and plenty of garlic and chilli in it.
I agree with the title but am not sure how your first post relates to doing something for others.

Why choose stirring?
Your soul sounds lovely DTC. I might try that.
Did you mean his soup, Tilly? ;o)
What some see as stirring is not always stirring
What some see as raising spirits others see as something else
You've lost me there, Helen.
Sorry I was responding to the OP .
I got lost with the talk of soup etc
no Covid, tested four times now.....

here's the recipe - I add the garlic and chilli once the onion is starting to soften....
and I use homemade chicken stock and also its strained through my favourite French gadget, a Mouli, an essential in this kitchen.....

Thank you, DTC. I'll give it a go.
