Bbc Quiz : Week 9
42 Answers
Evening all!
A middling start for me this week, with FOUR out of seven in the main quiz:

There are some nice easy questions in the kids' quiz this week (as, indeed, there always should be - it's meant for young 'uns , after all!). Even so, I couldn't manage full marks and had to settle for FOUR out of five:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /newsro und/513 18780
I couldn't quite manage half marks in the Timed Teaser though, with just FOUR out of ten this week:

So, unless maths has changed a lot since my day, three fours gives me an aggregate score of just 12, which I reckon most of you lot will beat easily enough. Er, you will, won't you?
;-)

Well done on getting improved scores this week - even if it does mean that you've beaten me ;-)
Hi, Haras2. If I was you, I'd be counting quizzes, rather than points, this week. That means that you've beaten me 2 - 1 ;-)
[Welcome to the Terrific Twelvers club, anyway!]

'Appalling', Barmaid? Surely not! (It's what I scored anyway!)
;-)
Hi, Campbellking! Well done on exactly matching the mighty Lie-in King this week!
I can well understand how Puss Puss and Bailey are severely disgruntled by their personal human finding time for any other cats ;-)
My lot are as wonderful, and as troublesome, as ever. Moonbeam has now decided that the pillow at the top of my bed is his personal space, meaning that I had to go out and buy anothe pillow, so that I could put it at the foot of the bed and sleep 'upside down'. However Tablo immediately commandeered that pillow and, with Chequers taking up the middle of the bed, I ended up trying to sleep in an armchair the other night!

Barmaid (if you're still around):
I forgot to ask why your two cats are 'miserable'. I hope that they (and you) aren't unwell.
Well done being perfect kids this week, Clover and Jourdain2 (and to Milo2 and Haras2 as well, of course!).
Well done on your good aggresgate scores too (with Jourdain2's score earning joint second place at the moment).
Your cat sounds lovely, Clover! (Chequers sometimes likes to sleep on top of me. He weighs the better part of 9 kilos though, so it's not always the most comfortable of experiences!)
