Morning, Krypto. I did this puzzle yesterday morning, I found it a little disappointing - it was all very straightforward!

Thanks for the help Toorak. Yes NAC, it was quite straightforward, although in some cases I knew what the answer had to be, but wasn't 100% sure why!

You're welcome piffpoff. I also enjoyed it, But would have liked more of a challenge.
Ps, Llandudno is quite famous in England for its quirky pronouncement and spelling.

It was a little easier than most, but still a fun solve. Love Welsh names and spellings.
Krypto, to explain, Termite=ant + initial letters of ‘alarm’ and ‘English’ + setters = us (usually setter = me or I). Apologies if you had it parsed already.
I learned several new words doing this. Thetheme was easily found though.
Some of the better crosswords definitley build our vocabulary Tilly :-)
Recalling them when needed is a different matter ;-)
