There has been a little bit of a 'comedy of errors' here. It was on Libby01's thread that a wrong answer was given. That wrong answer was given by Kingpin4 who is apologising for it on this thread.

Toorak/ Kingpin gave answer Stephen Crane for number 4 on the other thread whereas it is answerfor number 5.

For 3 - Sounds as though it might be Edgar Allan Poe though middle name spelling is different and he died in his 40s ... there is a Poe bird.
