The Conservative MPs stabbed their own party when they stabbed Boris in the back. It has never recovered and it will never recover because it will never repeat the unprecedented victory he delivered. Political opponents, like a bunch of big girls' blouses, making a meal of trivialities aside, the politically ambitious and the idiot Remainers within the Conservative government are jointly culpable for the mess that has been created because they all failed to recognise that the swing from left to right in Labour constituencies in the last election wasn't a vote for the Conservatives - it was a vote for Boris and Brexit - which is why most of them will probably lose their seats next time around. They are not him, it's done, and it is what it is - so as one who is comfortable enough to be unaffected by a wonky melee of parties making a complete hash of this country, with popcorn at the ready, I'm just watching the fallout with some degree of bemusement.

Oh no. Boris might be a giant among politicians but my crush is on George Clooney - and that's no secret. What a guy!
