Good evening, I’m seeking confirmation for the following and parsing where possible. Many thanks in advance!

Yes, ASTHMA.

word for 'race'/country (after)anag 'timer' - def 'end'/finish.
the 'two' = Roman numerals I+I (either) side of DENT' = 'evidence of crash + the next word, minus 'l'.

'play' is a slghtly wry definition - one of the usual 2 letter abbreviations for 'about' before a 6 letter word for '(to) author'/as in 'make'.
'underworld' = DIS +anag 'left at US'.
''Co-ordinators of voluntary movements'' is the def - the answer is in the rest of the words in the clue once a 3 letter word has been taken out (the indicator is 'partly').

...sorry, the 2nd one is an anag of 'stance' (not stand) about END and the def is 'rising'.

Matakari, remember the alphabetical order, you seem to have forgotten that.

I think your guess for the 1st one isn't too bad, because the letters are there for 'hereafter' and it fits with the def but, as I warned earlier, everything has to be accounted for or you'll mess up.
This clue drops a 3 letter word from 'Father' before it provides the anagram fodder (together with 'I felt') the anag indicator is 'strange' and 'ecstasy' gives the last letter of the answer [def is ''in Heaven, perhaps''].

The parsing for 1 to 9 is quite revealing. I've got answers for all except 5 and 9 which I'm still studying. Please let me know where to place 1,2,3,4,6,7,8 in the grid. Thanks in advance. And thanks for reminding me about the alphabetical sequence which is very useful here.

Thanks, Matakari. I felt I had to remind you about the alphabetical order as you had Sectarian for the thrid clue and Ascribe for one much, much further down!

PS Slotting in the answers is the fun part. The two placements you were given earlier should be a big help. Here's a further couple of hints - the first answer is a Down one, the second isn't.

1 KEN = 'knowledge' ['them' extra] def 'eclipsed'.
3 a 5 letter word for '(to) end' followed by 2 initial letters ['the' extra] def 'perfect'/complete.
4 'most of' ANTI(c) DUNE gives the anagram material.
5 The type of element 'copper' is goes around the 2 central letters left behind (ie it's 'naked') after dropping the extra word followed by C(aught).
7 abbrev. INC(luding) inside 5 letters for '(to)crowd' - it's what a 'spoilt young woman's often called over here.

I also advise you that I didn't assist earlier as I had forgotten that the Genius came out on Monday, and you started it before me - and I therefore didn't want to look at your thread until I had finished it.

It is an absolute cracker of a puzzle and the way the theme comes out in the grid is a great piece of compiling. Keep at it Matakari, it is worth it!

(2) Support place opening in Great Yarmouth( 6 )
(3 ) Contracted vessel to protect people’s food run ( 5 ) S?S??

I have not yet grasped the hints for this one, but have missing letters that I’m not sure of:

1 Take out "To" from tome - leaving an anagram of me and hard
2. Take out "Great". opening in Yarmouth = Y. Definition is support
3. Take out "run" definition is food
4. The E is wrong, take out "and" from brigand leaving "brig". Brig naked/ unclothed etc = (b)ri(g). Copper is a type of ?????. Usual abbreviation for caught. put it together and the definition is "using regular beat"
