This is a jigsaw crossword. Need to remove atleast a 2 letter word from the clue before solving.
I have all answers and fit them correctly.
But cannot figure out the theme.
In some cases I don't know which word to remove
E.g.
Like play about author ? (8)
And. Recreate?
Please help . Thanks in advance

For the theme - look not at the perimeter, but the next rows and columns in. Start at Column3 row 13 and move clockwise around the grid, so your next cell to look at is Column 2 row 13. Going clockwise will sell the name of a very famous album (3,4,4,2,3,4). Then google that album and you will find that all the surplus words arethe names of the trackson it, and in order, provided that you have the correct answers in the correct saces.

Hi Leena - just persevere, people will always be here to help if required. In my case, I am a big fan of that group, and when I saw some of the surplus words - "time, money, gig, great, sky etc, I put 2 and 2 together very quickly, and I was then looking for similar words in evey clue! I just happened to see the last word of the album along the bottom of the grid and followed it round to get the album title. So in my case I knew the theme before I saw it. Very lucky!
