Bbc Quiz : Week 28
37 Answers
Here we are again, folks, at the start of a typical British summer’s weekend. (i.e. with rain and gales forecast for most of us!).
After a total disaster last week, I’m back to my more normal ‘middling’ performance in the main quiz this week, with a score of FOUR out of seven:
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /news/w orld-66 188935
I could only manage just TWO out of five in the junior quiz though - but that’s still twice as good as I did last week anyway!
https:/ /www.bb c.co.uk /newsro und/513 18780
I finished off with a ‘decent enough’ (in my opinion, anyway) score of SIX out of ten in the dreaded Timed Teaser:

So that’s an aggregate score of 12 for me this week, which I’m sure many of you will beat easily enough.
Er, you will, won’t you though?
;-)

One of my better weeks with lots of lucky guesses.
6/7, 4/5, 6/10
Very happy with those scores!
Been busy preparing for upcoming holiday in Wales with the family, but looks like we are going to need to pack the wellies and waterproofs if this rain continues!
Even so it will be nice to get away and enjoy a change of scenery.
I wish you and kitties a wonderful week ahead :-)

Hi again, Karamia!
It's always lovely to read your posts.
Well done on going joint top with Jourdain2 with that fine 16 aggregate!
It's not so much the rain as the wind which seems to be threatening activities here. I'd been hoping to enjoy the activities at Stowmarket Carnival day tomorrow, where there was a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight planned. However the flypast has already been cancelled and, with winds of around 45mph forecast, I think that the entire event might well be in jeopardy now too :(
The Met Office forecast for Wales, from Sunday to Tuesday, says:
"Fewer showers on Sunday, and into the start of next week, with lengthier sunny spells. Winds easing through Sunday and temperatures around average for July."
So you might not find it too bad when you're away on your holiday. (A bit of rain is, I find, always a good excuse for nipping into a pub for a nice lunch anyway)
;-)
I've got to try getting some flea tablets into the feline threesome this coming week. (I've been trying, but failing miserably, to get the 'spot on' stuff onto the backs of their necks). As I'll be hiding the tablets inside some freshly cooked chicken though, I'm hoping that I might get away with it ;-)
I hope that your week (wet or otherwise) goes well.
