I can see that “she’s asking for it in that skirt” is wrong, but with mates I’m struggling to see why a mate would say “maaate” for saying “have you seen that new girl, I’d give her one”.

What we need is a leader, not some populist spouter of what will keep himself (and his party of the moment) in power. The only one with the guts to do what is obviously right is, at the moment, Khan. I don't want my grandkids to be poisoned by the filth that emanates from the rear end of people like TTT. The Times They Are a-Changin'.

Starmer was an avid Corbyn supporter. These days he blows with the wind, trying to be everything to everyone and will say anything he thinks will make him popular, even to the extent of saying, quite idiotically, that some women possess penises. Given a sniff at number ten he will revert to type and the lefties will rule. Result? Disaster.
The problem with the left is that they know they can't win. Agent Cob was at least honest enough to stick to his flawed principles. Rodders will do anything to con the voters into thinking that they can be sensible. There is a reason that real Labour have been in power for less than 20% of the time they have existed.
i am unsure what starmer’s principles are but i think his strategy is flawed. he is determined to win over people who despise labour and everything the party is supposed to exist to achieve. tory voters will moan between elections but they will fall into line when it counts.
the majority of voters in this country however do not vote conservative and for very similar reasons… the trouble is that the progressive vote is split. labour should be looking to remedy that situation in my view!

That's because I don't know untitled. If it helps I have a form of OCD where if I walk into a room and things are wrong I know instantly and in some cases I actually move furniture etc, can't help it I know it's wrong but if someone asked me to write down the "rules" before I saw the room I could not I just know what is right and what isn't. Well I am the same with politics, current affairs etc. It may surprise you that I am actually very left wing in certain things, eg transport policy etc, I don't consider my self right wing as you probably do, to me it's just simple logic.
Naomi at 18.29 - I can only assume that the theory is, if you interrupt your friend's vile diatribe of offensive verbal offal by using a patronising drawn-out word, he will suddenly come to his senses, immediately drop all his horrible attitudes to women, and have something to sat to the assembled company when he can stop hyperventilating with shame long enough to confess the horror of his ways.
