When Labour are short of a majority after the next General election, they will turn to the SNP and strike a 'confidence and supply' agreement as the Conservatives and DUP did in 2017. Of course the price for such an agreement will be a referendum, which will fail again :-)

Labour will never agree to hold another referendum. That would be idiotic and leave them a huge hostage to fortune. If Labour does a deal with anyone it'll be the Lib Dems. 
i don't think there will be another referendum in Scotland for  a generation at least
