Memories ! What Memories ?

Occasionally when having nothing better to do I look back at past diaries to see what the entry was for today's date.  An episode from 15th October 10 years ago, of which I have no memory at all, is as follows. 

At The next bus stop a bloke came up the stairs and announced in a loud voice that the world was ending tomorrow so we should all get boozed up tonight, then he sat down. A bit later he leant across to the couple opposite with the same message, then the people in front of them, then the couple in front of him, then the couple behind him - making them all feel very uncomfortable. He then got up and walked back and was about to address me so in a loud voice I said, "If you don't stop frightening people I will get you thrown off the bus, sit down and shut up" which sent him scurrying back to his seat like a naughty schoolboy and he remained there silently for the rest of the journey at least until I got off. 

This amused me tonight 😃.
