Please would some kind soul help me with two I just don't understand - it's been a real stinker for me this week, it took me FAR too long for the top clue at 1A to click and help with the other clues.

N I E C _  -  this must be niece, with 'ce' for church, but "Rev's daughter"?

 

parking exactly on the hour may have featured in dance?

P - T T E N - I can see this is P / AT / TEN, but I can't see how this ties in with dance?  It would help if I had a copy of Chambers to hand(!)

1d is an anag of 'cowers' ('trembling') and I didn't know the other meaning of this word for a legal deed.
