Chronic Health Ailments- How Do You...
Body & Soul6 mins ago
Good evening, all!
Only a month to go now before we can all give people lots of clothes that they’ll never wear and they can all give us lots of food that we don’t like. (Isn’t Christmas wonderful?)
I thought that I was on a roll this week, answering the first three questions in the main quiz correctly. Alas, that’s as far as it went though. So that’s just THREE out of seven for me:

I could only manage TWO out of five in the junior quiz too :(

It’s your turn now!

My scores this week are 5/7, 3/5
It's a bit too scary thinking of how soon Christmas will be upon us. I don't think I've really switched on to it all yet.
Going to attempt to get all the trees and decorations at least down and out of the loft as a way of kick starting myself into action, even if they don't go up till next week.
Have to think about some lovely treats for the grand puppy and will enjoy making a fuss of him.
What treats will be in store for the terrific trio? I am sure they are spoilt all year round and rule the roost anyway.
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead 😋
Thanks for your post, Rocky.
I feel a bit better now 😊
Hi, Karamia!
Well done on those impressive scores!
The Terrific Trio will get loads of luxury cat food (from those ruddy expensive tiny tins and pouches) over the Christmas period but their main Christmas meal is likely to be some freshly-roasted chicken. (That always seems to go down well with them!)
I don't bother with Christmas decorations. (It's one less thing for the cats to wreck!). However I'll string my few Christmas cards up by my desk to give the place a slightly Christmassy feel.
I got started on wrapping some Christmas prezzies last night (or, more accurately, in the early hours of this morning), with surprisingly few interventions from the cats. So I'm beginning to get on top of Christmas.
All the best to you for the coming week.
3/7 v 4/7
2/5 v 4/5
I'm guessing better this week!
Noted with envy your (Suffolk) mention of 14 degrees and sunny on the forecast yesterday...
Heard this week that we have won our battle with Britannia Towers against the 51m mast appeal, so, a few glasses being raised tonight...
Hope you and your three are all OK ,Shady has sorted the stupid dogs out
and gone to bed :-)
Well done with that splendid 5, Elliemay1!
You beat me anyway, Jourdain2!
(Guesses always count! If they didn't, my scores would hardly ever be much above zero!)
😀
Even your "not good" scores ae always above mine, Lie-in King!
Well done, Haras2! Joint top at the moment!
I don't remember any 14C temperatures yesterday! (It's definitely ruddy cold at the moment anyway, around 3C but with a wind chill temperature of about -1C).
Well done on achieving victory in your mast battle. (Any excuse for a drink, eh?)
I'm glad that Shady has shown the dogs who the boss is! Chequers is currently dozing in the armchair on one side of me, while Moonbeam is curled up fast asleep on my bed to the other side. (Tablo is, I think, downstairs, no doubt somewhere close to the radiator).
I hope that you and Shady will have a lovely week.
