Having read the instructions, the stars are the number of moves you have remaining when you solve the Waffle

perseverer does that mean that if you have more moves remaining then that is a better score?

You have 15 moves to solve the Waffle. After 10 moves you lose a star for each move. Don't know what you score if you do it in less than 10 moves or if that is even possible
